Bjørn Aris

Bjørn Aris has been studying Eastern martial arts and Zen philosophy for more than 20 years. He is one of Europe’s top 3 in the art of Japanese sword fighting, Iaido and since 2000 he has been a trainer and coach to middle and top executives in the business world. His strength lies in the fact that he is able to combine Eastern insights with his practical experiences as a successful independent entrepreneur, as well as his 12 year career as an investment banker.

He has a young and fresh training and advice agency with programmes based on 20 years experience in company life and everything surrounding it. As well as training courses, the agency offers many other diverse services in the area of communication and personal effectiveness such as: readings, events, workshops, teambuilding sessions and change management projects.

The programmes are tailor made and differentiate themselves by their practical style. In the training sessions, as well as theory they use practical blocks where techniques including the Eastern martial art of Iaido are used. Hereby the participants are able to put their theory into physical practice and through this more than 60% of what is learned is remembered. As well as this, a connection is made between what is learned and the everyday practices of the participants.

Eastern wisdom in combination with Western knowledge teaches us to be open to new points of view. Through this one is prepared to approach challenges in a new and creative way whereby the accent falls on efficiency. The breakthrough that is realized by the end of the session is the starting point of a new approach.
