Dr. Elizabeth van Geerestein MBA, founder/director of Papillon and Partners, develops strategies and models to bring about a profound level of transformation to the lives of individuals and organizations. She is a trained and Certified Hudson Institute Coach, Professional Trainer, Public Speaker, Leadership Consultant and Business Process Expert. Her approach is powerful, practical, motivational, intuitive and the results, tangible, lasting and profound.
Dr. van Geerestein’s influence and engagements are wide and diverse. She is an experienced Leadership Consultant to Executive Boards and has several years’ management consulting experience gained with two major Global Consulting Firms. She has served in coaching, consulting, training and leadership roles for finance, healthcare, chemicals, manufacturing and high-tech organizations. Working extensively in the areas of personal leadership development, organizational change and business process/performance optimization she is particularly active in personal and organizational transformation and maximizing the performance of teams. Clients routinely praise the results sustained and her attention to their specific leadership needs.
Dr. van Geerestein is an Adjunct Professor at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) Erasmus University, The Netherlands – a role she has held since November 2006. Elizabeth is involved with the personal leadership development course across the portfolio of international MBA programs. This crucial course is designed to “develop self-aware leaders able to effectively manage relationships and to positively impact global business & society”. In addition to her broad involvement across all the MBA programs (international full-time, executive and global executive), Elizabeth is directly responsible for the personal leadership development course of OneMBA Global Executive MBA Program from both a design and delivery perspective. In addition, Dr. van Geerestein coaches numerous Senior Executives from diverse organizations ranging from Fortune 500s and start-ups, to universities and non-profits. Her Global Engagements include assignments throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

"Dr. van Geerestein has been working as a consultant for AstraZeneca on various projects since 2004 and in her current assignment, has been engaged by AstraZeneca as Leadership Coach, Consultant and Conference Facilitator since June 2007.
In the role of Conference Host and Facilitator, Elizabeth provided excellent support and facilitation during two of our conferences held recently in Budapest, Hungary and Cairo, Egypt, respectively.
